Overview:
As part of the CRC Stock Pitch Competition, I pitched a long on Procore (PCOR) and helped lead our team to 2nd place. I built the financial model, crafted the core thesis, and defended it live. The edge was seeing how deeply embedded Procore is in the construction workflow and how its vertical approach gives it long-term defensibility to digitize the construction industry.
Key Elements:
- Built a full DCF and public comps model
- Used channel checks to validate customer stickiness
- Wrote and presented a cohesive story around expansion and margin leverage
Why It Matters:
I learned how to pressure-test a thesis, frame a pitch like an investor, and present it in a high-stakes environment.
