lego gave us instruction booklets. most kids followed them once and then built whatever they wanted. that second part is where everything interesting happened.

ai has instruction booklets too — we call them tutorials. people get stuck on step one, following along, building someone else's thing. what they need isn't another walkthrough. it's enough fluency with the tools to build what they actually imagine.

the ai cult is a 30-day challenge and the community forming around it. i build in public, people watch the real process instead of a polished tutorial, and they learn the tools well enough to leave the instructions behind. useful whether you've shipped ten things or none.
